How can I develop my resiliency to grow, learn and contribute to a community?
Science
We talked about what an Insulator is. An insulator keeps things either hot or cold. As Scientists we investigated different materials to see which one worked the best to keep snow cold. We tested 4 different materials and found out that tin foil and woven fabric worked well to keep the snow from melting for 15 minutes. The green cloth was not very effective and the snow melted quit a bit! The bubble wrap also did not keep the snow from melting. We will continue to talk about this concept next week and this will connect to our Arctic Animal Inquiry! Comments are closed.
